Cosmetic grading is written down, not argued about. Minor scuffs inside the tolerance band are accepted; anything that would make a customer put the unit back on the shelf is rejected. Your staff should never have to explain a finish defect to a paying customer.
Where the margin really sits
We publish a realistic band of 3.35 to 9.27 per unit for standard configurations at 240 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.
Custom printing raises the unit price and lowers the marketing cost. For distributors the break-even is usually reached on the second or third repeat order, not the first, so we quote both branded and neutral options.
How orders move from factory to shelf
Damage in transit is nearly always a packing decision, not bad luck. Double-walled cartons, internal dividers and a drop-tested configuration cost a little more and save the argument at the other end.
