THC Vape batch date — red flags

THC Vape sits in a crowded price band, and the cheapest quote on the sheet is rarely the cheapest unit on your shelf. Everything below is built around reorder rate, defect rate and cash conversion rather than headline unit price.

Support that answers the question

This page is for distributors who want a working answer on specification, price and lead time before they commit a purchase order. We have written the detail down so nobody has to sit through a sales call to extract it.

We keep the specification sheet for every order on file. Two years later, when a customer asks whether a pod is compatible, the answer is a lookup rather than a guess.

Every account gets a named contact who has actually seen the product. Being passed between three people to answer one question about a coil resistance is the fastest way to lose a buyer, so we do not organise support that way.

How the price is actually built

The cheapest way to lower your cost per unit is usually to remove a SKU, not to negotiate a discount. Fewer lines means larger runs, fewer changeovers and a better price at the same quality.

We publish a realistic band of 3.18 to 10.36 per unit for standard configurations at 240 units. Below that band you are buying a lighter specification; above it you are paying for finish, packaging or a smaller run.

For distributors, the practical answer is usually a shorter range: two core lines, one step-up, one trial SKU. Everything else is inventory risk wearing a nice finish.

Where defects actually come from

We photograph the packing station during production for volume orders. It is a small thing, but it settles most arguments about what was actually in the carton before it was sealed.

A 0.5 percent defect rate sounds excellent until it lands on a 600 unit order and you are handling three returns in a week. We quote realistic rates per category and we credit in advance for the known failure modes.

  • Standing reorder schedule with a fixed cut-off
  • Seven-day defect reporting with replace-or-credit
  • Private label files archived for future rebrands
  • Cartons drop-tested and pallet-counted for clean freight
  • Mixed SKU cartons to spread first-order risk
  • Specification locked in writing before production starts

What a sensible opening order looks like

A practical starting order for distributors is 240 units across two or three SKUs, not 240 units of one. That spreads the risk, gives your staff something to compare, and still hits the first price break.

Most distributors arrive with a spreadsheet and leave with too many SKUs. The fix is not a bigger catalogue, it is a narrower core. We normally propose three tiers: a volume line that carries the shelf, a step-up line that lifts basket value, and one trial SKU that tells you what to order next season.

If any of this is unclear, the fastest route is a message rather than a meeting. Send the market you sell into and the price band you work in, and you will get a specific answer instead of a brochure.

Frequently asked

Can you ship to multiple locations?

Yes. Split shipments are quoted separately because consolidation and splitting price differently. Tell us the destination list at quotation stage and we will show both options.

How long does production take?

Around 28 working days after artwork approval for stock configurations, plus transit. Custom runs add roughly a week for tooling and a physical dummy. We confirm the date in writing on the order acknowledgement.

Can we order samples before committing?

Yes. Sample orders are shipped by air express and the cost is credited against your first production order above 240 units. We would rather you handle the sample than approve a specification from a photograph.
